RIGHT HEART AND PULMONARY ARTERY
1. Begin with Axial Bright Blood Chest SCOUTS (first sequence) to plan RVOT CINE
Prescribe a true sagittal obliqe slice through RVOT (right ventricular outflow tract) and MAIN PA
scroll up and down to ensure you are obliqued correctly.

Which creates the following RVOT CINE...

2. Plan the PA CINE off the RVOT CINE
Bisect the main PA, make perpendicular

Which creates the following pulmonary artery CINE...

3. Pulmonary Artery Through Plane PC
Plan off both the RVOT and PA CINEs just created, which are orthogonal views
Single slice within the main PA
VENC 90-120

Which produces the following PHASE and MAGNITUDE images...

Ensure there is no aliasing within the main PA. If aliasing, then repeat the image with a higher VENC (add 100). Continue repeating with incrementally higher VENCs until no aliasing.
